Help Lokal

Made Lokal by Melissa's aim is not only to help uplift our local industry, but also to give back to our community. With the help of family and friends which includes supporters of our brand, we were able to provide help and assistance to our kababayans. We are GRATEFUL for all your help. All these would not be possible without YOU. ♥️

COVID-19 Pandemic. [2020]

It was supposed to be a one-time donation to a state-owned hospital which cried for help. But in-kind and monetary donations were pouring in so we decided to continue with the drive and help as many hospitals as we can. We were able to provide PPEs, food packs and other essentials to almost 100 hospitals all over the country. Donations both reached as far as Cagayan Valley, and Bukidnon. There were people who helped connect us with different groups including the Marines, which provided assistance for the donations to reach Tuguegarao. Companies such as Kalbe International (Fitbar), and Brand Concepts Supplies and Manufacturing (Oleawhite) have also donated food and toiletries, and these were all included in the distribution.

Typhoon Ulysses. [2020]

Friends chipped in to help the shoemakers of Marikina who lived near Marikina River. We were able to give them grocery supplies such as canned goods and cleaning materials.

For the benefit of sapateros living in Malanday, Marikina

With support from Dolora's Hauz of Pancit Malabon as our drop-off point, we were able to collect goods which were handed over to Vagabond Pinas. These were distributed to the victims of Ulysses in Daraitan, Rizal.

COVID-19 Pandemic. [2021]

Thank you to Fitbar Philippines, and Unilever Philippines for their contribution. Made Lokal by Melissa was able to donate 100 care packs to medical frontliners, and 200 food packs to patients of Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.

Ifugao Community. [2022]

Seek and you shall find -- it was coincidence and timely that when the Ifugao community requested for sponsor/s, it was also the same time that I asked my friend, Dr. Ceres Canto is there is a way I can extend help to someone as my "giving back to the community vow". Through Dr. Canto of Philippine Heart Center we were able to give 4 nebulizer units to our kababayans.
